If You Give a Kid a Cookie, Will He Shut the F*ck Up? by Marcia Roznick and Miranda Lemming
This book is, in a word, hilarious. Within moments of discovering this (wrongly placed in the kids pile by another receiver, haha!), and showing one of my managers, others started showing up, including our community relations manager. In the spirit of Go the F*ck to Sleep, this story is a parody of the famous If You Give a Mouse a Cookie book. But of course, everything in this book is just plain wrong. From drunken uncles to cock fighting ("watching the birdies") to police arrests, you'll be laughing in no time. I think one of the best parts is actually the illustrations. They're bright and colorful and - somehow - absolutely cute. It really does look like it belongs in the children's section! But don't put it there please!
